2013 Maestrale

2013 Maestrale
2013 Maestrale

Maestrale, or masterly, comes from the mistral winds that pass through the northern Mediterranean. The grapes from Bordeaux inspired the blend of 65% Petit Verdot, 25% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Cabernet Sauvignon exclusively sourced from Rattlesnake Hills AVA near Yakima, Washington. After hand harvesting the fruit during the last week of October, the grapes were brought to San Diego for vinification. Maestrale aged for 18months in French oak barrels.
